Haiti Relief and Recovery Efforts

An alliance of Christian denominations has been created to sponsor relief and recovery efforts in Haiti. 
Schedules for medical, housing, community development and agricultural efforts are noted below. 
Work areas are in earthquake devastated remote villages. Click for a brochure.
Tools and Materials List (donations needed)
Cost is $1,000 per person  
Cost includes: Transportation from/to Harrisburg to departure airport
  Airfare from the departure airport to Port-au-Prince
  Transportation from the airport to the host housing and return
  Lodging and meals at the host location
  Materials and supplies needed for the work to which the group is assigned

The Oct. 5 trip to Faugasse has been cancelled. The clinic is currently under construction and will not be completed until after this date. When it is finished, a 2011 trip may be announced.

The October trips to Faugasse and Pierre Payen have been postponed, because Rotary International sponsors cannot assemble a team of opticians at these times. They will inform us when they will be rescheduled.
